"Days of Buddhist Culture" opens in Kazakhstan

ALMATY, Kazakhstan -- The Days of Buddhist Culture From the Tibet to the Caspian Sea were opened today in the Almaty Central Expo Hall.

The event will conclude lectures of the world Buddhist teachers on the history and the key points of the philosophy of this ancient religion, an exhibition of the way of their live, demonstration of the film and slides.

According to the organizers, the Days of Buddhist Culture will contribute to further widening and strengthening of international cultural ties and introduction to the ancient philosophy and religion.

The cultural days will last until February 3.
