The deceased will be placed in his coffin at 10 am on March 8 at the headquarters of the VBS in Ha Noi. The memorial ceremony will start on March 9. The funeral ceremony will be held on March 13.
The funeral committee is chaired by Most Venerable Thich Tri Tinh, first Deputy Chairman of the VBS, Chairman of the Executive Council of the VBS, and Vice President of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee.
The following is a brief biography of Most Venerable Thich Tam Tich:
In 1958, Most Veneral Thich Tam Tich was elected a member of the Central Executive Board of the United Vietnamese Buddhist Church (northern region) when the church was established, and a member of the VFF Committee of Ha Noi.
