Noble intentions but criticisms on Dalai Lama are unwarranted

I refer to the unsigned letter from Benectines for Peace.  As you claim to personally know Ven Dharmakara, I'll accept that he is a noble person with good intentions.

However, that does not make his unwarranted criticisms of the Dalai Lama correct. If one were to apply the same rationale to the Catholic Church for its history of misdeeds and problems, where would that put the Pope?
