Major pagoga expands to boost training

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam -- Phap Van Pagoda in the southern business hub of Ho Chi Minh City on Feb. 6 inaugurated a dormitory and lecture-hall in the presence of senior clerics of the central and municipal Buddhist Sangha.

Most Venerable Thich Tri Quang, Deputy President of the Viet Nam Buddhist Sangha's Executive Council and President of the municipal Buddhist Sangha's Executive Council, said the pagoda is expanding to boost the Buddhist spirit of both monks and nuns and followers as well as the education and research of Buddhism.

Also present at the event were Most Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh and a delegation of monks and nuns worshipping in his pagoda in Mai village in France.
