Lansing, MI (USA) -- Members of a local Buddhist temple are celebrating a new monument. They gathered to dedicate a new 7-foot statue. It's carved from one piece of marble and represents the one who looks down, the lord. Members of the temple are happy to see the new figure.
Tim Truong, attended ceremony: "She brings hope, faith and forgiveness to everybody in the community, and what we have here, it brings together everybody."
The temple is a Buddhist center of the Vietnamese American Buddhist Association of Lansing.
