And it's Buddha's birthday today
And everyone will stop and pray
To Buddha today and his
Teachings shared from heart to soul
In unity we feel it whole
And we'll celebrate Buddha and
We light the lamps and chant the prayers
Release the captive dove
And hope that everyone now shares
The Buddha's boundless love
And on his special day
Buddha will lead the way and
With Buddha's wisdom deep inside
Toward a brighter day
Bathe in kindness let love flow
Plant the seeds of hope to grow
On Buddha's birthday let us strive
Together in harmony we thrive so
Happy birthday Buddha.
