It is sad indeed to read on the articles about the 'Worldly' award. My understanding of the Buddhist Teaching, though shallow, convince me that :

THE GIFT OF THE DHAMMA, EXCEL ALL GIFTS.
THE HIGHEST BLISS IS TO ACHIEVE NIVANA,
TO ESCAPE THE CYCLE OF ''SAMSARA".

It looks like the many years of striving to achieve perfection in this cycle of life, if not, the next cycles has come to nought. It is very sad indeed. How is it possible now to preach to the lay people about, 'ANGER, GREED AND DELUSION'.
