Masaru Emoto's Secret Life of Water not scientifically proven

by Michael Mikowski, Cambridge, MA (USA), The Buddhist Channel, April 6, 2006

I very much appreciate your efforts in creating and maintaining the Buddhist Channel.  And it is in the spirit of "ehipasiko" ("come and see for yourself") that I offer my comments regarding Masaru Emoto's book "The Secret Life of Water."

It is a lovely book with beautiful photography. Mr. Emoto's conjectures that water responds to emotions have no scientific basis.

His results have never been reproduced and so are unprovable. Enjoy the beauty of the pictures and the wonder of the natural world.
