The Buddhist Channel, Aug 11, 2006

Visit by the Rinpoche on Aug 28 and 29, 2006 is a first for the people of Wales

Cardiff, Wales (UK) -- The 18th Dulmo Choje Rinpoche is regarded as a living Master in Tibetan Buddhism and is the highest ranking teacher of his lineage still living in Tibet.

The Rinpoche will be making a visit to Wales at the end of August 2006. This is the first time he has left his home country.

He has been invited with the intention of clearing obstacles to the building of a new Buddhist temple and community centre in the centre of Wales' Capital City.

It is envisaged that the centre will host art exhibitions, offer classes and complementary therapies and be an oasis of calm in the middle of the urban jungle.

More information about his visit can be found on the Rokpa Cardiff website: www.rokpacardiff.com
