Also yesterday, Minister Bajracharya and Transport Vice Minister of Myanmar Nyan Tun Ang discussed on strengthening friendly relations between the two countries by enabling relations through exchange of visits in cultural, religious and people?s level.

On the occasion, Myanmar Vice Minister said more flights were demanded on the once a week flight to Bodhgaya initiated recently for Buddhist pilgrims.

Minister Bajracharya informed that there is a plan to build an international airport in Lumbini and flights will be conducted regularly to Bodhgaya and other Buddhist pilgrimage sites from there, and requested Myanmar for sending maximum Buddhist pilgrims from Myanmar.

According to the Private Secretariat of Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Minister Bajracharya also requested for Myanmar?s consent to use the Myanmar air space while making flights to Hongkong from Nepal.

Also yesterday, Bajracharya met Vice Minister of Laos Prof. Bhengtar and exchanged experiences on undertaking development programmes as well as expansion of bilateral relations in the people?s level.

Also yesterday, Bajracharya and Transport and Communications Minister of Zimbabwe CC Mosoibe discussed expansion of mutual relations.

Vice governor of Shangxi province of China Zhao Jhengyang also exchanged views with Bajracharya on relations and cooperation.

Similarly, Chairman of the Main Aircraft Company Catic of China Fu Xula also paid a courtesy call on Minister Bajracharya.

A reception was hosted by Nepali students studying in Xian Zautong University of Xian in honour of Minister Bajracharya.

Some 30, 000 students study in the university established in 1896 from various 24 nations.

Vice chairman and departmental chiefs of the university also said Nepalese students have been doing well as compared to other students.
