Andhracafe, Jan 7, 2006

Amaravati, India -- The ongoing Kalachakra is a great opportunity for monks and devotees from Tibet to meet their long lost friends and relatives.

Tibetans who have been harassed by the authorities in Tibet move and and are staying at various part of the country.

Many of them find it difficult to keep in touch with their loved ones. They make it a point to attend the Kalachakra festival wherever it is held. It is during the festival that they get a chance to meet their beloveds who have been missing for years.

At Amaravathi special arrangements have been made by volunteers to help them come together. The volunteers? made announcement through mikes the names of the people wish to meet each other and thus enable them to come together once again.
