Young Buddhists from across the globe felt blessed after the teachings.

"There are so many Buddhists from Korea and Mongolia and some from other foreign countries. This empowerment is of very highest practice but it is not easy to practice. But I think Dalai Lama gives us the potential to do in the future. This is very important to give Buddhists opportunity to practice and to have the enlightenment, especially the practice," said Yan Oh Young, a Korean Buddhist.

The teachings involve Tibetan Buddhism and are meant for world peace.

The preaching of the Dalai Lama, the spiritual and temporal leader of Tibetans, who revere him as the reincarnation of a long line of Buddhist kings, are considered divine by devotees.

The teachings were specially organized at the request of Buddhists from Mongolia.

Hundreds of Buddhists from across the world have descended here, which has been home to the Tibetan spiritual leader since he fled to India in 1959.
