The train will be flagged off from Safdarganj station in Delhi on March 28 reaching Gaya the next day, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) general manager P. K. Goel said.
The special-purpose train, Goel said, will have 366 births in total in air-conditioned and sleeper coaches with fare ranging between Rs. 3, 250 and Rs. 5, 280 that would include travel by train and bus to Gaya, Rajgir, Nalanda and other places of interests plus luxury hotel accommodations and meal.
The entire trip would last eight days before returning to Delhi; he said adding more future runs would be added depending on the success of the pilot program.
