"The play was based on the story of Karmapa, as when his father died, he was sent to live with his uncle and aunt till he becomes ready to take control of his father's property. But in greed his uncle and aunt torched him and he went through a very bad phase in his life," said Gempo Chering, secretary to Karmapa.
