Tai Situ Rinpoche lead a Puja in New Dehli

New Delhi, India -- The 12th Tai Situ Rinpoche and monks of Sherabling organized a special Puja in the fourth week at India International Center, Annexe C, New Delhi on January 23, 2005. The two hour long praying ceremony that began at 6pm was dedicated to the people and beings effected by the Tsunami.

The Ceremony led by The Twelfth Tai Situ Rnpoche and also joined by Father Bento from Christianity and other one is Mr Merchant from Bahai Faith. Also
a number of people joined and prayed together.

According to the tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, the fourth week of the praying for the people who lost their lives is very important day. Therefore, the 12th Tai Situ Rinpoche, with the heart of great mahamaitr and mahakaruna, specifically organized this special Puja on Sunday, the January 23, 2005, after he called the world-wide dharma centers and Buddhists to join this puja since December 26, 2004. Thousands Buddhists and most of Kagyu centers in the world responded to the call of Tai Situ Rinpoche and joined this program of the special Puja.

It is said that following the instruction of H. E. 12th Tai Situ Rinpoche and tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, the world-wide Buddhism centers of Karma Kagyu had also hold the special prayers puja on Sunday respectively.
