237 degrees of M.Phil., Postgraduate degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas and Bachelor of Arts will be awarded at this convocation to those who have been successful at the examinations held in the years 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003, states a press release by the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka.

Graduands of the foreign institute of Singapore registered under this University are also expected to have their degrees awarded at this convocation.

The awarding of the Honorary degree of "Sahithya Chakkrawarthy" (Doctor of Literature) to the following two Parivenadipathi Theras who has been serving two leading Pirivenas of this country will be a special feature of the convocation.
