National Conference on Buddhist Studies

Colombo, Sri Lanka -- The sixth National Conference on Buddhist Studies will be held at All Ceylon Women's Buddhist Congress Hall, No. 400, Bauddhaloka Mw., Colombo 7 on December 4,5.
The conference will be held on Saturday from 8.30 am - 5 pm and Sunday from 8.00 am - 5 pm. This program will be organized by the Sri Jayewardenapura University, Pali and Buddhist Studies Department, the Buddhist Times Trust and Bodu Sahana Aramudala.
The Chief Guest at this conference will be Sri Jayewardenapura University Chancellor and Venerable Professor Bellanwila Wimalaratana Thera.
The inaugural address will be delivered by Emeritus Professor Chandra Wickramagamage. The theme of the inaugural address is Ultimate Reality in Buddhism.
Registration will be held from Saturday 7.00 am to 8.30 am.
The Joint Coordinators are Ven Dr Magammana Pannananda Thera and Ven Panahaduwe Yasassi Thera.
