Colombo, Sri Lanka -- Despite strong protests from Buddhist monks in Sri Lanka regarding the day of Shah Rukh Khan ?s concert in Colombo, the show would be held as previously planned.

Thousands of monks have protested to the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka and urged them to postpone SRK?s ?Temptations 2004? concert from December 11 to some other day as Dec 11 marks the first death anniversary of monk Gongodawila Soma Thero.

However, the organizers of the show have ruled out the possibility of postponing the show as all the arrangements have been made, tickets sold and a good number of people are expected to come from different parts of the island nation and from abroad for the show.

Shirin Morani, one of the organizers, is quoted to have said: ?We are surely going ahead with our plans for Saturday as planned. The show has not been postponed or cancelled.?
