CRIENGLISH.com, Oct 19, 2005

Beijing, China -- Chinese Buddhist relics will be exhibited in South Korea from November 11 as a form of religious offering.

The Buddhist Association of China says the Buddhist relics, or sarira (finger-bone) will be exhibited in the Korean cities of Seoul and Pusan for 42 days.

The Buddhist relics, which are national treasures, come from the Famen Temple in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, and are regarded as sacred.
