Beijing, China -- China's top Buddhist Association has a new leader. Master Chuan Yin, has been elected as President of the Buddhist Association of China.

He succeeds Yi Cheng, who has been serving as president since 2002. The new leadership is committed to keeping united, and promoting Buddhism in the country.
