Taiwanese Buddhist dies in Bodh Gaya

PATNA, India -- An elderly Taiwanese Buddhist died due to illness at the pilgrimage town of Bodh Gaya in Bihar, police said on Monday.

Huang Si Tuan alias Jen Chen, 75, was found dead on Sunday in the Taiwanese monastery at Bodh Gaya, about 110 km from here.

He was part of a 28-member Buddhist pilgrim team from Taiwan staying in the monastery. They arrived in Bodh Gaya last week to attend special prayers for world peace.
