Conference in Thailand to discuss "Buddhist Philosophy & Praxis"

Ayutthaya, Thailand -- On June 1st, 2012, the International Association of Buddhist Universities will be hosting its 2nd International Association of Buddhist Universities Academic Conference, on Buddhist Philosophy & Praxis.
110 Scholars will be presenting articles in four panel-sessions with the themes of: Buddhist Philosophy and Meditation Practice; Unifying Buddhist Philosophical Views; Teaching Dhamma in New Lands; and Buddhist Psychotherapy.
The host of the event is Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU), the largest Sangha university in Thailand, and perhaps in the region.
The conference is being held in conjunction with the United Nations Day of Vesak Ce lebrations, also graciously hosted by MCU, co-sponsored by the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand, and the Supreme Sangha Council of Thailand.
Attendees to the academic conference can collect the four-volume set of texts produced from the conference proceedings, the entire batch of academic offerings. It plans to be a great event, and the general public is encouraged to freely attend.
