The Department of Special Investigation (DSI), under the helm of former chief Tarit Pengdith, concluded the investigation and ended witness protection after no arrests were made in the past 11 years.
The current DSI chief, Pol Colonel Paisit Wongmuang, yesterday insisted that the probe had been thorough and all forensic evidence examined closely, but said that if the relatives were still doubtful, the agency will look into their points of concern and proceed accordingly.
Phra Supoj's younger brother Sopon Doungprasert also urged the media to look into the alleged encroachment of Suan Metta Dharm, as he claims the monastery now only has 600 rai of the original 1,500 rai, because of encroachment for farming purposes.
