The congress, which drew the participation of nearly 500 Most Venerables, Venerables, monks and nuns, elected a 47-member executive board and set forth major tasks of doing good things for both the religion and the nation for the whole chapter.

The congress called on Most Venerables, Venerables, monks and nuns in the province to actively participate in humanitarian activities and activities against social evils.

Responding to appeals made in the previous congress, monks and nuns in the province did many things to help poor and other disadvantaged people, and contributed to ensuring social order.
