Well known Arakanese monk visits Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia -- A well known Arakanese monk, Maha Zaya Thikdi Adithan Saradaw started a two week tour to Malaysia yesterday after arriving at the Kuala Lumpur International airport, in the nation's capital city.

A number of members of the Arakanese communities staying in Malaysia received him at the airport and sent him to the place where he will be staying.

According to the Arakanese community, he is now staying at Thiri Mangla Dhama Yeitha community hall for religious purposes in Pun Chun Township, Kuala Lumpur.

Adithan Saraday is a famous monk in Burma for sacrificing his life to Buddhist religious practice since he was young. Now he is famous in Burma by another name which translates literally as, "World Propagate for Buddhist Religion".

Saradaw came to Malaysia from Singapore and will likely return to Burma after his Malaysia trip.
