Indonesian President Yudhoyono to attend Buddhist Holy Day

Semarang, Indonesia -- President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to attend the commemoration of the Buddhist holy day Waisak on May 9 at Borobudur Temple, Magelang, Central Java.
“We are working on the preparations,” said head of provincial government's public relations for Central Java, Agus Utomo, on Tuesday (5/5).
The President will attend a series of events in central Java.
From June 1 to June 4, the President will attend the national jamboree in Donohudan, Solo.
He is also scheduled to open the Borobudur international festival on June 25 to June 29.
This festival will present art and cultural performances as well as a tourism exhibition.
