His Holiness The Dalai Lama to Visit Mayo Clinic Rochester

Rochester, MN (USA) -- His Holiness The Dalai Lama, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and religious and secular leader, will speak to Mayo Clinic patients and staff members at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, April 17.
Entitled "Compassion in the Face of Suffering," the address will focus on practices that encourage a peaceful mind, and positive ways to live during difficult times. Mayo Clinic will host a live webcast of the presentation at www.mayoclinic.org. A replay of the event will be available three hours after the presentation, and will remain on the site for 30 days. Attendance at the event is by invitation only.
No tickets are available for the general public. The presentation is open to news media credentialed personnel.
