GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan (USA) -- Two communities in Michigan and one in Canada will have the extraordinary opportunity to experience the Heart Shrine Relic Tour of priceless Buddhist Relics.
When the 500 foot tall bronze statue of Maitreya is completed in Kushinagar, India (projected date is 2010) these relics will be permanently installed there. Anyone who wants to see them at that point will have to go to India to do so. Due to demand to see the relics in other parts of the world, it is possible that the Relic Tour may never again return to Michigan before the projected 2010 deadline.
