Activist and Buddhist teacher to explore ‘Making Peace Possible’

FORT COLLINS, Co (USA) -- Peace and human rights activist and Buddhist teacher Richard Reoch will present a workshop, “Making Peace Possible,” next weekend.

On Friday, the event will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Lory Student Center at Colorado State University, Room 230, and on Saturday, Dec. 6, in the Grey Rock Room of the student center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The workshop will focus on the challenges of stress in everyday life. Participants will learn exercises in working with emotions through meditation and contemplation.

Reoch formerly served as global media chief for Amnesty International and is now president of Shambhala, one of the largest Buddhist organizations in the world.
