Buddhist group helps California fire victims

Los Angeles, CA (USA) -- A Taiwanese Buddhist organization has helped put out the fire that engulfed southern California in October.

The Buddhist Compassionate Relief Tzu Chi Foundation said on Sunday that its volunteers in 22 locations in the US all assisted in the rescue work. So far, it has helped more than 2,000 families and 6,000 people receive support from the organization.

Meanwhile, another forest fire broke out in southern California over the weekend. The fire also took place in Malibu.
